On March 15, 2024, a conference for teachers “EDU Biała Podlaska” was held in Biała Podlaska. The conference topics concerned the use of modern technologies in research and education in primary and secondary education. The speakers represented the Academy of Physical Education, the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, the Biała Podlaska University, the Lublin University of Technology and Atkin, a company dealing with the implementation of VR technology in education. Employees of the Department of Computer Science of the Lublin University of Technology, including prof. Jerzy Montusiewicz, prof. Marek Miłosz, Dr. Jacek Kęsik, Dr. Kamil Żyła and Kinga Chwaleba have presented a paper entitled “Scanning and 3D modeling of sacred monuments” and organized and operated the promotional stand of the Department of Computer Science and the Lublin University of Technology. Folders informing about the university, the department and its laboratories were distributed, as well as materials advertising Internet portals devoted to the results of the department’s scientific expeditions and the activities of the Lab 3D laboratory.
