Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching for the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Lublin University of Technology

Azure Dev Tools for Teaching (formerly known as Microsoft Imagine in Standard and Premium versions) is a subscription-based offer for schools and faculties with a scientific, technology, engineering and mathematical (STEM) curriculum. Provides teachers, lecturers, pupils and students with professional programming and design tools, software and services from Microsoft. Contains our latest cloud technologies and services that inspire and engage pupils and students. In addition, it provides teachers and lecturers with a diverse set of resources that will enable their classes to challenge students and engage them in new ways.

In addition to access to software previously available as part of Microsoft Imagine, students also receive free $ 100 for use on the Azure platform for 12 months.

Account validity period

WARNING! Student accounts in the system are active only until the end of the current semester . In order to extend the account validity, please contact Mr. Leszek Sałamacha (Department of Computer Science / WEiI – 36B Nadbystrzycka Street (“Pentagon”), room S108, from Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 15:30, other dates for students extramural studies after agreement by phone (0-81-538-43-52) or e-mail (l.salamacha@pollub.pl). The student must have an entry in the index for the semester during which the account is to be valid. Students who have completed their participation in all classes provided in the study program cannot use the system.

To register in Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching for the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science it is required to:

Employee registration

To register it is required to:

  • have an active e-mail account (it is recommended to use the address on Polytechnic servers)
  • download the appropriate form file ,
  • complete the form,
  • with a completed form and identity card, contact Mr. Leszek Sałamacha (contact details below) – for epidemiological reasons, please send scanned forms to the address l.salamacha@pollub.pl ,
  • information on logging into the system will be sent to the e-mail address provided (account creation usually takes no more than 24 hours), this registration only gives access to the portal http://e5.onthehub.com/WebStore/Welcome.aspx?vsro=8&ws=76BBEA56-AF8B-E011-969D-0030487D8897 (third-party software).
  • To access Microsoft software (without Microsoft Office):
  • on the https://my.visualstudio.com website you should create a Microsoft account using the address from the domain @ pollub.pl,
  • at https://aka.ms/devtoolsforteaching you should pass the verification, after which we can use the Microsoft software.
