On 24.11.2022, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the S. Podkowa auditorium, a ceremony was held for the awarding of state and departmental decorations to employees of Lublin University of Technology. Among the 68 decorated employees of the university there were 5 employees of the Department of Computer Science. By the decision of the Minister of Education and Science, the following were awarded the Medal of the National Education Commission for their special contribution to education and upbringing: D.Sc. Ph.D. Małgorzata Charytanowicz, university professor; D.Sc. Ph.D. hab. Paweł Karczmarek, university professor; Ph.D. eng. Maciej Pańczyk; Ph.D. eng. Marcin Badurowicz. By virtue of the decision of the President of the Republic of Poland, the Silver Cross of Merit was awarded to D.Sc. Ph.D. eng. Dariusz Czerwiński, university professor, for his contribution to the development of science.
