Inauguration of Research Laboratories of the Institute of Computer Science

On 7th May 2015 the Institute of Computer Science celebrated the inauguration of two research laboratories. Both new research facilities i.e. the Laboratory for Motion Analysis and Interface Ergonomics and the Laboratory for Programming of Intelligent Systems and 3D Computer Technologies are housed in the building of the Centre for Innovation and Advanced Technologies of the Lublin University of Technology.

The inauguration was honoured by the presence of the LUT authorities represented by Prof. Piotr Kacejko, Ph.D., D.Sc., Eng., the Rector and Wiesław Sikora Eng., the Chancellor.

Prof. Dariusz Czerwiński, Ph.D., D.Sc., Eng. welcomed the guests and officially opened the inauguration ceremony. The new research offer was presented by the Heads of the laboratories: Dr. Marek Miłosz, Ph.D., Eng. and Prof. Jerzy Montusiewicz, Ph.D., D.Sc., Eng. The guests could admire the new equipment: the 3D motion capture system, two eyetrackers as well as the electroencephalography equipment (EEG) which will be used for conducting research and integrating the world of science and business to mutual benefit of all involved.
