Due to bilateral agreement Institute of Computer Science organized the internships for students from Kazakhstan.
From June to August 2013 Institute hosted 21 MSc students of Computer Science, Information Systems specialization, from Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics from Kazakh National University named al- Farabi in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Students were divided into three working groups.
Students, besides familiarizing with Institute research directions and laboratories, took part in following scientific seminars:
- “Working with scientific databases “,
- “UML and design patterns “
- and “WebML in practice. Using WebRatio.”
What is more, students presented their theses topics during Institute of Computer Science seminars, research for additional materials and held series of scientific advisory with academic staff from Institute. During their free time students visited Lublin, Warsaw and other Polish cities.
