Conference: IT in Cultural Heritage (IT-CH’2023)

Date and place: October 24–26, 2023, Lublin University of Technology, Lublin, Poland. Remote participation is possible.

The aim of the conference: The aim of the conference is to provide knowledge on the methods, devices and software for the use of IT in the issues of documenting, protection, sharing and management in the area of cultural heritage, as well as in the field of digital history.

Conference languages: English/Russian.

Organisation of the sessions:

plenary session and thematic sessions (October 24–25),

remote, on-line sessions (October 26).

Applications for participation in the conference:

Deadline for submitting a paper: June 30, 2023 (by e-mail to: e.milosz@pollub.pl).

The submission of an abstract of the paper to be delivered in a plenary, thematic or remote session must include: the title of the paper, the list of authors with affiliation of organisational units, abstract of the paper (1500-2000 characters with spaces), type of session (plenary / thematic / remote).

If the author plans to include his or her accepted paper in a prepared scientific monograph, he must provide the full version of the article by September 22 in English, Russian or Polish. The article must contain: title of the article, list of authors with affiliation of organisational units and e-mails, abstract, introduction and content of the article related to the cited papers, summary and bibliography. Item size 15,000-25,000 characters with spaces. The editorial team will prepare the composition of the article.

Acceptance of applications:

acceptance of the submitted papers will be carried out on an ongoing basis by the scientific committee of the conference,

acceptance of articles for the monograph will be based on the review.

Important information

Participants should note that coming to Poland requires obtaining a visa at the Polish Consulate. The issued invitation to the Conference will be the basis for applying for a visa. Please remember that the visa application procedure takes at  least several weeks, so please do not delay in submitting your article submission.
