Date and place: May 11-12, 2022, Bukhara State University, Bukhara, Uzbekistan
Six employees of the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the Lublin University of Technology took part in the international conference “Modern problems of applied mathematics and information technology”, which was held at Bukhara State University.
The participants were also participants of the 7th Scientific Expedition of the Lublin University of Technology to Central Asia. The team was: Dr. Elżbieta Miłosz (project manager of “Silk Road 3D” project), Prof. Jerzy Montusiewicz, Prof. Marek Miłosz, Dr. Tomasz Szymczyk, Dr. Sylwester Korga and Anna Sałamacha.

The paper “Modern problems of 3D scanning of cultural heritage objects – “3D Digital Silk Road” project” was qualified (and presented) to the plenary session of the conference.
