On May 23-27, 2022, a training course was held at the Lublin University of Technology on “Scanning Large Objects” as part of the “3D Digital Silk Road” project, financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) as part of the Academic International Partnership program (https://cs.pollub.pl/projects/3d-digital-silk-road -digitalization-of-historic-silk-trail-in-Uzbekistan /).
12 employees from 4 partner universities of the project participated in the training.
The training included theoretical lectures, practical classes in the Lab3D laboratory, as well as field classes (i.e. scanning the Main Market Square in Zamość).
Additionally, a representative of TPI Sp. z o.o. presented the latest models of 3D scanners.
