Open Lecture and Discussion Panel on Accessibility and Usability of IT Systems

On May 14, 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00, an open lecture and discussion panel titled ”Accessibility and Usability of IT Systems as a Condition for the Success of Digital Transformation” will take place at the Conference Hall of the Lublin Scientific Society (Plac Litewski 2). The event is free of charge and open to the public.

The keynote speaker will be Professor Sergio Luján-Mora from the University of Alicante (Spain), a full professor in the Department of Software and Computing Systems. His research interests include web accessibility and usability, web applications and Business Intelligence, data warehouse design, object-oriented analysis and design, as well as e-learning, Open Educational Resources, and the application of artificial intelligence in human–computer interaction.

Following the lecture, a discussion panel on accessibility and usability of IT systems will be held. The event will bring together representatives of the Lublin City Office, local IT companies, and the academic community. It aims to foster collaboration between academia, public administration, and industry.

The meeting is open to all residents of Lublin.
