The fourth DIGITAL HERITAGE congress (https://digitalheritage2025.unisi.it/about/) took place in Siena, Italy, from September 8-12, 2025. The congress was organized by the University of Siena. This is one of the most prestigious meetings of scientists in the field of digitization of cultural heritage.
The DH25 EXPO exhibition (https://digitalheritage2025.unisi.it/expo/) took place during the congress. Commercial companies showcased their achievements in the digitization of cultural heritage.
Over 540 scientists participated in the congress, presenting 204 oral presentations. Additionally, 37 posters were presented and four roundtable discussions were held.
The following employees of the Department of Computer Science participated in the congress: Prof. Jerzy Montusiewicz, Prof. Marek Miłosz, and Piotr Tokarski.
Four papers were presented promoting the scientific and research work of the Department of Computer Science:

- 3D Digitalization of Wooden Churches – Techniques and Challenges During Preservation Efforts (Marcin Badurowicz, Stanisław Piotr Skulimowski, Jerzy Montusiewicz, Tomasz Szymczyk)
During the presentations, the Department of Computer Science’s monographs on the digitization of cultural heritage were promoted. As a result, the number of monograph downloads from the University of Technology’s ROCK Repository increased (https://rock.pollub.pl/home).
