International Cooperation in Education

The Institute of Computer Science actively cooperates with foreign universities and organizations. Joint projects and different kind of educational activities are conducted.
Development of internalization and globalization make it available for students to became a part of the global market and became attractive employee for European companies. Among advantages of internalisation students and teachers can find: international exchange of researchers and students,

  • increasing the competitiveness of national and regional economies,
  • opportunity to develop new courses,
  • opportunity to gain skills needed on an international labour market,
  • development of new research projects.

International Seminars on Computer Science

International seminars, as a part of internalization process, play a significant role in the modern higher education. They are also interesting way of complementing a study program.
Students and teachers participating in such activities have opportunity to develop and spread knowledge, discuss their ideas, start new projects, taking part in different education and research programs. Such meetings usually have light, students friendly form of lecturers, laboratories and discussion panels.

    Information Security Audit, conducted by Dr. Igor Anikin (Kazan State Technical University, Kazan, Russia).
  • Intelligent Systems, conducted by Dr. Elza Takhavova (Kazan State Technical University, Kazan, Russia).
  • MDE Practices Applied to the WEB: the WebML/WebRatio Case, conducted by Dr. Marco Brambilla and Dr. Alessandro Bozzon (Politecnico di Milano, Italy).

Erasmus Exchange

Lublin University of Technology has established educational links with a great number of universities abroad Official cooperation agreements exist with universities in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, Spain, The Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey, Hungary, Great Britain and Italy Within the framework of LLP-Erasmus Program we collaborate with more than 100 universities all over Europe Today, out of a total student community of over 10,000, there are more than 100 non-Polish students from different countries studying here within the frames of LLP-Erasmus Program.
Teachers, students and technical staff from the Institute took part in many Erasmus Exchange mobilities to such countries like Spain, France, Turkey, Slovenia.
We greatly value the international nature of our university community and the significant contribution that our international students and staff make to the rich cultural diversity of life on the campus.

Cooperation with East Europe and Asia

The Institute actively cooperates with East Europe and Asia. Such activities involve seminars, participation and co-organization of joint conferences. Such cooperation is also based on Tempus ERAMIS projects activities.
