Cooperation with ICT Industry

Cooperation with ICT Industry in the scope of education is currently focused on two types of activities:

Practices

Institute of Computer Science cooperates with ICT companies in the scope of student practices. The cooperation involves jointly master theses establishing by a company and a potential promoter from the Institute.
Students may enroll for thesis topics related to the practices. Students qualification is reviewed in two stages. First, the initial recruitment is carried out to qualify students on the chosen topics. The second stage takes place in the companies and regards the chosen theme. After recruitment, qualified students are assigned to subjects and delegated to four-month internship.
During practices students realize the practical part of their theses. At the same time they prepare its theoretical part under the supervision of the University.
The result of students practices is to increase their theses levels. Results of thesis are often deployed in companies. Practices raise students skills and expands their career opportunities.

Professional seminars on computer science

The cooperation between Institute of Computer Science and ICT companies involves also organization of professional seminars. Such seminars are conducted by experienced employees who presents students practical aspects of ICT projects development.
Seminars are often conducted as series of lectures and workshops. Students usually can count on the certificates of attendance.
