International Seminars were organized under the project „Graduate of our time” (www.anmc.pollub.pl). The aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity of university teaching by preparing, realizing and developing new specializations of Master degree studies in Computer Science. The project involves also adapting curricula to the needs of the IT labor market.
The project provides International Seminars on Computer Science (ISoCS) – a three-day international series of seminars for students carried out by leading specialists from abroad.
Institute of Computer Science organized in 2012 seven such seminars in the following areas subject:
- HTML5 and Java Frameworks (Jaume Aragonés-Ferrero, Universidad de Alicante, Alicante, Hiszpania);
- Information Retrieval: Models, Algorithms and Applications (Dr. Alexander Sychev, Woronez, The Russian Federation);
